Dr. Imponenti
Dr. Mattia Imponenti holds a Doctorate in Cello Performance with a specialization in Music Education. His doctoral research focused on a systematic review of observational learning and its role in string instrument instruction, both in private studio settings and public school classrooms. This research was inspired by his extensive teaching experience and the diverse learning styles he observed while working with students and presenting masterclasses.
Based in Gainesville, Dr. Imponenti currently serves as an Adjunct Lecturer of Cello at the University of Florida for the Fall 2023 semester. In addition to his academic work, he performs as a section cellist with both the Ocala Symphony Orchestra and the Gainesville Orchestra.
